Selected for DART Artistic Residency

Excited to share that I’ve been selected to be an Artistic Resident through the fantastic Unscripted Twillingate – Digital Arts Festival! I’ll be creating up a storm in Twillingate, NL for the months of August and September. I’ll be working on creating new audio-visual work inspired by the Twillingate Islands region and recording/experimenting/performing on my beautiful Gemeinhardt flutes! There will be performances at the festival, I’ll be teaching workshops, connecting with elders in the community and inspiring emerging artists. I can’t begin to express how excited I am about this wonderful opportunity. I’ve been needing this in my career for quite some time. Excited to focus on art full-time and to see how experiencing a new place will influence my audio-visual work. Twillingate, I’m so excited to spend time with you real soon!

Waiting Outside on CBC

A short film I composed the music score for by talented NL filmmaker, Joshua Jamieson called, WAITING OUTSIDE has been offered a multi-year broadcast licensing deal that will make it a part of CBC’s Reel East Coast Season 6! It will broadcast on the CBC Atlantic network in November 2020, and immediately after it will be available on CBC Gem to stream anywhere, anytime within Canada! read more

A Canadian Premiere

Since COVID-19 hit, I’ve been wondering if I would ever find an opportunity to perform the Canadian Premiere of my newest audio-visual project, DON’T LET ME FALL TOO FAR in a real theatre. The answer is YES! I will be performing this precious project at the Rotary Arts Centre as we stream it live for CB Nuit. CB Nuit will be a digital arts festival this year and is happening from September 18 – 20, 2020. I’ll also be giving my first interactive artist talk, FEEL THE FEAR AND DO IT ANYWAY. Really looking forward to sharing stories about my career and helping inspire others to aim for their biggest dreams – no matter what the obstacle. More details coming soon. read more
