Postcard from the Yukon

I must pinch myself out of this beautiful sleep because I must be dreaming! Life really can’t get this magical, can it? IT CAN and I’m living it with warm feelings of gratitude spilling out of each and every bit of me! : )

With only 4 days left in the Yukon, I recently put the universe to the test. I put it out there that I wanted to find a nice little cabin in the woods where I could decompress after a very busy and productive time in Dawson City, Yukon. Within hours of posting something on Artsnet, my wish came true!

Here I am in Deep Creek, about a 40 minute drive from Whitehorse, drinking chai tea from fire-heated water, listening to the birds sing and enjoying a beautiful sunny day. There is no way I can put these warm feelings I have into words. Instead, I am working on a new song, called, “Love Song for the Yukon”.

Thought I would share a link with you, from Atlantic Canada’s Sea and Be Scene:

See you soon St. John’s! And to the Yukon who is making me so sad to leave, I’ll be back! : )
