New Track and Radio Interviews in Northern Ontario
I’ve just posted a live recording of “Primordial Soup,” recorded at the Apollo in Thunder Bay by one of my favourite sound engineers in Canada, Alex Pederson. I wrote this song to go with a short film by Scott Amos while I was in Dawson City, Yukon last month.

And for those of you in Northern Ontario, I will be on the radio twice on Tuesday May 19th:
8am - CFNO (in Marathon) - live performance and interview
4:40pm - Sudbury’s CBC Radio with Dan Lessard - live interview with tracks played off of Edgework

“Boots” by Scott Amos
This is one of the films Scott Amos and I collaborated on for the Dawson City One-Minute Film Challenge. It’s called “Boots”. I used a toy instrument that one of the local folks had given me, the “Old MacDonald” you hear in the background. Recorded it into a zoom and then played around with other sound samples I had taken in the Macaulay House.

“Primordial Soup” at the Dawson City International Short Film Festival
Well the sound quality ain’t great on this but Scott Amos’s short film, “Primordial Soup” is certainly intoxicating. This is a performance Scott and I did at the Dawson City International Short Film Festival. I had just written the song and this was the first performance of it.
