Grade 2 Class Dances to “Tongue n Groove”
This is a video clip of the Grade 2 class from Dawson City’s Robert Service School, dancing to me performing “Tongue n Groove” in their classroom. Had to share it with ya as it puts a smile on my face each and every time I watch it. They asked me to play this song three times and each time, they had a blast dancing. What a fun bunch of kids! : )

Banff Centre Demo Recording
I’ve got a new song up on my MySpace player, called, “We Could Be“. It was recorded at the Banff Centre, live off the floor by sound engineers, Will Howie and Maggie. Thanks to the talented musicians who laid down such beautiful parts in such a limited amount of time.

I recently sent this recording to apply for a Canada Arts Council recording grant. Keeping the fingers crossed. If I am successful, it will help to fund the new album, titled, It Is What It Is which I plan to start recording in Newfoundland this summer.

Samuel Davidson, clarinet
Cheryl Law, viola

Singing Backups for Flotilla at the Banff Centre
Now that I am settled in Dawson City, I thought I would post some memorable video clips from my travels.
This video clip was taken during Flotilla’s awesome show at the Banff Centre, in the Bentley Chamber Music Room (March 22, 2009, courtesy of Christina Green). It was such a beautiful show. So happy that I got take part in it. It was looking like it may not be able to perform when my car broke down in Calgary the night before, just after I dropped a friend off at the airport. Thanks to a close friend, I was able to get a lift back to Banff, only hours before the show was to begin….
