“It reminds me of the type of ethereal sound explored by artists like Kate Bush…The idea of this record being intended for live looping performance by a solo artist continues to haunt my listening experience; I really want to see that show.” Click here to read the review

For many years, I’ve been applying to showcase at Contact East through the Atlantic Presenters Association. This conference is the best opportunity for showcasing what I do in front of over 150 international, national and regional presenters. I’ve been invited to pitch “Flute Loops & Film”!!! Looks like this Gemeinhardt Musical Instruments flute looper is going to perform sweet sweet music to silent film for a 3rd time this year. I could not feel more grateful! An opportunity to take my audio-visual show to more theatres, schools and music festivals – where my heart is!
Extra performance and workshop added in Malmö, Sweden! Visit: https://www.facebook.com/events/454175701757366

I leave in four days for my first tour of Berlin and Sweden. Here’s where you’ll find me performing and teaching:
It was an honour to present and perform at the National Flute Convention in Orlando, Florida. I spoke on a career panel about entrepreneurship and performed at the showcase for the Gemeinhardt Musical Instruments all-stars at #NFAFlute2018. I wish I could put into words how special the Gemeinhardt flute family is to me. Such wonderful people who warm my heart and make FANTASTIC instruments! Thank you for helping me shine.
Thanks to the lovely folks at Improvised Alchemy and Willows Nest, I will be performing my audio-visual works and teaching a Live Film Scoring Workshop in Berlin! Every two years, one of my favourite music festivals, Sound Symposium takes over St. John’s and fills the streets (and harbour) with inspiring music! I was fortunate to perform my SUNRISE meditation piece to a beautiful sunrise at Atlantic Place and we were rained out for our special SUNSET performance on Signal Hill which we hope to reschedule. Here are some beautiful pictures of the SUNRISE performance, taken by Colette Phillips.
